Before breaking the fast by taking the first sip of water normally by the hands of her husband. Sometimes unmarried women join in the fast for their fiancés or desired husbands.
Karwa Chauth – time to dress up
Along with the religious and ritualistic significance of Karwa Chauth another hugely important factor is the dressing up that goes along with the day.
